Hello! I am so glad you stopped by! My Name is Katie, I am the one behind Petals & Bonnets. I am a mother to 3 (soon to be 4!) and I love creating beautiful embroidery designs & PNG designs for your projects and businesses!
I started Petals & Bonnets after years of customers asking if my artwork is available in embroidery format. I own Pretty Grandmillennial, where I sell grandmillennial preppy clipart, seamless patterns & branding templates. I was a bit intimidated to learn how to digitize embroidery designs (feels like a big learning curve!) But I have loved it so far!
All designs are from my original artwork, I use all kind of art supplies to create my designs. My favorite is watercolors and my iPad!
If you ever need help with a file, please don't hesitate to reach out, I love helping! I will be honest here- I don't embroider! And I have never used an embroidery machine (I'm just the artist who designs embroidery designs!) So if you aren't sure about settings, thread, or anything else, I am afraid I am at a total loss but I can try and help still, maybe we can problem solve on Google together hah!
I live in the outer skirts of Vancouver BC Canada. I am American, born and raised in Washington state then met my husband in Canada and moved up here. I really love it where I live, it's busy but the scenery is so beautiful.
